Our solid baton products are packaged in an innovative,
water soluble wrapper thereby eliminating waste packaging,
chemical contact; health and exposure issues.

Storage, Drum Disposal and Landfill Issues
The fact that all our product bottles and outer packaging
can be easily recycled as general waste also eliminates
any empty drum storage, drum disposal and landfill
issues that come with traditional liquid products.
Reduce Transport, Warehousing
& Handling Costs
Generally, one case of our highly
concentrated, waterless solid chemical weighs
less than 22 Kg but will deliver as much active
chemical as 115 to 375 litres of a liquid (depending
on the manufacturers’ solution strength).
A 200 litre drum of liquid chemical typically
weighs over 220 Kg.
Containing no water makes our solid products
significantly smaller and lighter than their
traditional liquid chemical equivalents making
them easier to move around and store. As a result,
warehousing, transportation and handling costs
can be significantly reduced. |

Environmentally Sympathetic
Products
Most components used in our solid chemical products
are fully biodegradable. They are designed to break
down to innocuous substances after use so that they
do not accumulate in the environment.
The individual plastic containers and packaging used
by us are all 100% recyclable, reducing their environmental
impact and your waste disposal and landfill responsibilities.
Improving Energy Efficiency
Using our solid chemical products allows a facility
to maximise its energy, water; and chemical savings,
whilst minimising its impact on the environment, employees,
and customers.
Our products are designed to dissolve at ambient
temperatures, using normal “tap” water
temperatures. Dissolving pressures are regulated and
controlled through our SCT dosing systems, using normal
mains water pressures.
Green Manufacturing
The "green manufacturing" process used
in the production of our solid chemicals creates no
by-products; and only rinse water is used to clean
the production equipment.
The production of our solid chemicals does not require
the addition of binders, or supplemental acids; and
only minimal caustics are added during the manufacturing
process. Unlike most liquid water treatment chemicals
where substantial amounts of hazardous caustic are
required to enhance the solubility of the product,
our products do not require the addition of such hazardous
materials.
By eliminating binders and solubility enhancers from
the production process, all raw materials added to
our products are fully consumed and no by-products
or other forms of waste are produced in production
or at the point of application.
