| Description |
SCT6016 is a solid cooling water treatment product
developed to protect galvanised cooling towers from
white rust conditions. SCT6016 is suitable for use
in both new installations and systems that must
be routinely passivated. It uses the very latest
anti-scaling and corrosion inhibition technologies.
Its corrosion inhibitors combine with conventional
chemistry to provide system protection via passivation.
SCT6016 is available in fully recyclable plastic
bottles each containing 5kg of concentrated solid
chemical.
SCT6016 contains ortho phosphate, polymer dispersant
and triazole.
Product Application / Feedrate
At a dosage rate of 250 ppm the parameters identified
in the table below should be met during the passivation
period. Operators should also refer to the tower
manufacturers guidelines for additional detail.

At a dosage rate of 20 ppm, 1 case of SCT6016
is equivalent to approximately 227kg of a conventional
liquid product. Comparative values will vary, dependent
upon concentration.
Testing & Control
Ortho phosphate test kits suitable for monitoring
and controlling the use of SCT6016 are available
from SCT.
Feeding
Feed SCT6016 using an SCT DB100 board system.
Packaging, Storage and Handling
SCT6016 is packaged in cases containing 4 x 5kg
bottles.
Each case weighs 20kg.

Store this product in cool, dry area. Correctly
stored product will remain effective for between
24 to 36 months.
