| Description |
SCT6014 is a polymeric based on-line cleaner and
scale remover developed for use in both cooling
and boiler water systems. SCT6014 helps in the removal
of scale build-up in water systems using the dispersion
method (as opposed to acidic chelation). SCT6014
is designed to supplement boiler and cooling system
scale and corrosion inhibitors and offers an excellent
alternative to the use of dangerous mineral acids.
SCT6014 is thermally stable and can be used in
both boilers and cooling water systems.
SCT6014 comprises a small (0.36kg) solid chemical
baton wrapped in a water soluble bag. It is designed
to clean-up boiler and cooling water systems whilst
they are operational, and for small systems where
metering of the inhibitor into the system is not
practical.
SCT6014 contains two state-of-the art polymer compounds,
Versaflex One and AR-540, both of which are combined
in this proprietary solid formulation.

Product Application / Feedrate
Application rates for SCT6014 will vary from 20
– 2000 ppm in the system water depending on
the severity of the scale/deposit build-up,
When cleaning heavily fouled systems care should
be taken to prevent clogging of screens, strainers,
and lines. Under such circumstances it may be advantageous
to use SCT6014 in conjunction with a side stream
filter.
Each baton of SCT6014 yields 25 ppm of product
when added to 14.4m3 of system volume/water.
Feeding
When dosed into a system, operators should attempt
to find a high flow area in the sump of the cooling
tower or inside an accessible make-up tank. Please
note that product dissolution rates will vary depending
upon water composition, temperature and flow rate.
Packaging, Storage and Handling
SCT6014 is packaged in cases containing 30 x 0.36kg
water-soluble bags, each bag being enclosed in a
sealed cardboard tube.
Each case weighs 10.9kg.

Store this product in cool, dry area. Correctly
stored product will remain effective for between
24 to 36 months.
