| Description |
SCT6031 is a solid water treatment product developed
as a stand-alone treatment for corrosion inhibition
in closed loop water systems.
SCT6031 comprises a small (0.45kg) solid chemical
baton wrapped in a water soluble bag. It uses the
very latest corrosion inhibition technologies to
provide a unique dual mechanism for the control
of corrosion in both chilled water and hot water
boiler systems.
SCT6031 contains nitrite, borax, acrylates, phosphino
corrosion inhibitors, and copper metal inhibitors.
Product Application / Feedrate
SCT6031 can be used at a federate of one baton
(0.45kg) per 360 litres of water capacity.
Testing & Control
Nitrite test kits suitable for monitoring and controlling
the use of SCT6031 are available from SCT. Nitrite
at 800 ppm, dosage rate provided above.
Feeding
Add SCT6031 into a shot feeder or open tank. Please
note that product dissolution rates will vary depending
upon water composition, temperature and flow rate.
Packaging, Storage and Handling
SCT6031 is packaged in cases containing 24 x 0.45kg
water-soluble batons, each baton being enclosed
in a sealed cardboard tube.
Each case weighs 10.9kg.

Store this product in cool, dry area. Correctly
stored product will remain effective for between
24 to 36 months.
