| Description |
SCT6045 is a solid boiler water oxygen scavenger
product developed to reduce the potential for oxygen
corrosion in boiler water systems.
SCT6045 is based on catalysed sodium sulphite.
All components of SCT6045 conform to US FDA Title
21, Section 173 Boiler Water Additives. SCT6045
is also an NSF approved product.
SCT6045 is available in fully recyclable plastic
bottles each containing 5.5kg of concentrated solid
chemical.
Product Application / Feedrate
1kg of SCT6045, dosed at a rate of 25 ppm will
treat approximately 88,000lbs of boiler blowdown.
This is dependent on the levels of oxygen being
removed mechanically.
One case of SCT6045 (21.8kg) is equivalent to 114kg
of a conventional liquid product. Comparative values
will vary, dependent upon concentration.
