| Description |
SCT6046 is a solid boiler water oxygen scavenger
developed to reduce the potential for oxygen corrosion
in boiler water systems; and to protect condensate
systems from corrosion.
SCT6046 is based on sodium sulphite and morpholine.
SCT6046 is available in fully recyclable plastic
bottles each containing 5.5kg of concentrated solid
chemical.
Product Application / Feedrate
1kg of SCT6046, dosed at a rate of 40 ppm will
treat approximately 55,000lbs of boiler blowdown.
This is dependent on the levels of oxygen being
removed mechanically and/or the levels of alkalinity
in the make-up water.
One case of SCT6046 (21.8kg) is equivalent to 114kg
of a conventional liquid product. Comparative values
will vary, dependent upon concentration.
