| Description |
SCT6060 is a solid boiler water treatment product
developed as an off-line and pre-commission cleaner
for new and existing boilers; and closed re-circulating
water systems. SCT6060 is designed to remove mill
scale, oil and grease; and other unwanted materials
that may cause fouling prior to commissioning or
re-commissioning a boiler or closed water system.
SCT6060 comprises a small (0.45kg) solid chemical
baton wrapped in a water soluble bag.
Product Application / Feedrate
Feed SCT6060 at the rate of 1 stick (0.45kg) for
every 190 litres of water volume. Always follow
the system manufacturers recommended cleanout/boil-out
procedures.
SCT6060 contains alkaline materials. Users should
carefully monitor pH during product usage as it
may increase to excessive levels. Care should also
be taken to avoid contact with copper at high pH
levels.
SCT6060 may cause foaming when fed at high levels.
Feeding
Add SCT6060 directly into shot feeder or open tank
as advised.
Packaging, Storage and Handling
SCT6060 is packaged in cases containing 24 x 0.45kg
water-soluble batons, each baton being enclosed
in a sealed cardboard tube.
Each case weighs 10.9kg.

Store this product in cool, dry area. Correctly
stored product will remain effective for between
24 to 36 months.
