| Description |
SCT6051 is a solid multi-purpose boiler water treatment
product incorporating corrosion inhibitors, scale
inhibitors and alkalinity builders. This product
is suitable for use in boiler systems under both
softened and hard water make-up applications. For
hard water applications, less than 20 ppm total
hardness in the feed water.
All components of SCT6051 conform to US FDA Title
21, Section 173 Boiler Water Additives. SCT6051
is also an NSF approved product.
SCT6051 is available in fully recyclable plastic
bottles each containing 5.5kg of concentrated solid
chemical.
Product Application / Feedrate
1kg of SCT6051, dosed at a rate of 60 ppm will
treat approximately 36,675lbs of boiler blowdown.
One case of SCT6051 (21.8kg) is equivalent to 114kg
of a conventional liquid product. Comparative values
will vary, dependent upon concentration.

If the make-up water contains PO4, adjust
or lower the control limits to compensate for this
interference.

the use of SCT6051 are available from SCT.
Feeding
Feed SCT6051 using an SCT DB100 board system.
Packaging, Storage and Handling
SCT6051 is packaged in cases containing 4 x 5.5kg
bottles.
Each case weighs 21.8kg.

stored product will remain effective for between
24 to 36 months.
