| Description |
SCT6048 is a solid boiler water oxygen scavenger
developed to reduce the potential for oxygen corrosion
and general corrosion in boiler water systems.
SCT6048 is based on sodium sulphite, sodium lignosulphate,
bisulphite, and eythorbate.
SCT6048 comprises a small (0.36kg) solid chemical
baton wrapped in a water soluble bag.
Product Application / Feedrate
1kg of SCT6048, dosed at a rate of 30 ppm will
treat approximately 73,333 lbs of boiler blowdown.
This is dependent on the levels of oxygen being
removed mechanically.
One case of SCT6048 (10.9kg) is equivalent to 57kg
of a conventional liquid product. Comparative values
will vary, dependent upon concentration.

Packaging, Storage and Handling
SCT6048 is packaged in cases containing 30 x 0.36kg
water soluble batons, each baton being enclosed
in a sealed cardboard tube.
Each case weighs 10.9kg.

Store this product in cool, dry area. Correctly
stored product will remain effective for between
24 to 36 months.
