| Description |
SCT6029 is low foaming cooling system biodispersant
and penetrant which assists in the prevention and
removal of organic materials and foulants. SCT6026
is engineered to supplement cooling system inhibitor
/ dispersants and biocides to maintain clean surfaces
in cooling towers and heat transfer equipment.
SCT6029 works to penetrate the matrix of organic
surface deposits which are broken up and then disperse.
SCT6026 can also be used as a general corrosion
inhibitor and cleaner for heavily fouled systems.
We recommended that SCT6029 is used in conjunction
with SCT biocides to help maintain a clean system.
There is also a lower tendency for agglomeration
with anionics than typical ADBAC quaternary compounds.
SCT6029 is available in fully recyclable plastic
bottles each containing 4.1kg of concentrated solid
chemical.
Product Application / Feedrate
SCT6029 should be fed at a rate of 20 ppm. Increase
this dosage rate for fouled systems or during initial
start-up/charging of the system.
Always feed a biocide to kill bacteria and algae
in the system.
When using SCT6029 to clean heavily fouled systems,
care should be taken to prevent clogging of screens
and strainers.
Please note that this product may cause foaming
when fed at high levels.
Testing & Control
ATP or colony count test kits suitable for monitoring
and controlling the use of SCT6029 are available
from SCT.
Feeding
Feed SCT6029 using an SCT DB100 board system.
