| Description |
SCT6022 is an isocyanurate-stabilised, dry source
of chlorine. It is approved by the US EPA for use
in controlling the growth of bacteria and algae
in potable water, industrial re-circulating cooling
water systems, air washers, evaporative condensers,
cooling towers; and wastewater discharges.
SCT6022 is available in fully recyclable plastic
bottles each containing 2.3kg of concentrated solid
chemical.
SCT6022 contains Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate Dihydrate.
Use with SCT6019
SCT6022 is an activator for residual bromide from
DBNPA degradation. When SCT6019 is used as a cooling
tower microbiocide it decomposes to bromide ion.
When supplemented with SCT6022, the bromide ion
in the re-circulating water is activated to hypobromous
acid, effectively introducing an excellent algaecide.
Both SCT6019 and SCT6022 are US EPA registered,
thereby providing an excellent oxidising and non-oxidizing
bio program.
Stand-Alone Use
SCT6022 can be used in a stand-alone capacity as
a chlorine source.
Dosage Rate
For industrial re-circulating cooling water systems
dosage rates for SCT6022 will be dependent on the
conditions of the system prior to treatment. Systems
that are heavily contaminated should be cleaned
prior to product use. Apply SCT6022 to maintain
a free halogen residual in the re-circulating water.
Feeding
Feed SCT6022 using an SCT DB100 board system.
Packaging, Storage and Handling
SCT6022 is packaged in cases containing 4 x 2.3kg
bottles.
Each case weighs 9.1kg.
For all safety data refer to the latest SCT MSDS.
Store this product in cool, dry area. Correctly
stored product will remain effective for between
